We - J.Inked - strive to be at the forefront of the new frontier in artistic expression: AI-generated artworks. After moving to Kyoto, Japan, our main inspiration has become the beauty and aesthetics of the land of the rising sun and we are trying to capture this beauty by intersecting creativity and technology.
We introduce the aspect of technology by utilizing a powerful artificial intelligence-based image generation called “MidJourney” to bring our ideas to life. Our mission is to utilize this powerful tool to produce never before seen and eye-catching art, that showcases both the capabilities of machines and the great strides this technology has made in recent times as well as the human vision and curiosity behind it.
We strive to infuse every piece with human emotions and feelings, let it be the nostalgia you feel when driving down the roads of your childhood, the sorrow and sadness of losing what is dear to you, or feeling like you are just a small speck of dust compared to the massive and stunning nature around you.
We love art - and that is why we happily pour countless hours into perfecting every intricate detail in our works, from the detailed character designs to the beautiful landscapes and wide skies. While we fix some of the glitches in the AI-generated images, some of them we leave in the finished artwork intentionally, because we feel like they add a certain character or a certain layer to the product. We believe that every piece of art has the power to deeply touch somebody and we feel honored to be able to share our works in hopes of maybe touching you.
